What LAP does.

LAP turns every sim and real-world session into a development plan you can execute. It scores each session, finds where you lost time corner by corner, and prescribes the drill to fix it. The coaching is rule-based — not a chat box. Below are the five things LAP does, and the kit it captures from. The product is pre-launch; every visual here is a labelled preview of the real screen.

Analyse

Session analysis & 4-pillar scoring

Every session is scored across four pillars so you know exactly where the lap time went — not just that it went. The breakdown is per corner, so a 0.3s loss is tied to the apex it came from instead of being buried in a lap average.

  • Four pillars — Pace, Consistency, Execution, and Robustness — scored every session.
  • Per-corner time-loss breakdown: where you lost time, corner by corner.
  • Session comparison and progression tracking over weeks and months.
  • A visualization workspace for traces, deltas, and overlays.

Coach

Corner coaching & coaching library

Coaching is rule-based — not a chat box. Each prescription comes from a rule in the coaching library matched to the corner shape, car class, and the weakness the analysis found. Every note follows the same chain: rule → prescription → drill → outcome, so you always know what to change and how to check it worked.

  • Rule-based prescriptions traced to a library rule — no generative chat, no guesswork.
  • The chain is explicit: rule → prescription → drill → outcome.
  • A targeted drill for each weakness, with a measurable outcome to confirm the fix.
  • Coaching plans that build across sessions instead of one-off tips.

Strategise

Race strategy

A full race-strategy workspace with no duration cap — endurance stints and sprints alike. All optimizer modes are available to every member, with pit and stint planning up front and live pace monitoring once you are on track.

  • Unlimited race duration — from a sprint to a 24-hour endurance run.
  • All optimizer modes available to every member, no tier gating.
  • Pit-stop and stint planning with fuel and tyre windows.
  • Live pace and stint monitoring while the session is running.

Bridge

The sim ↔ real bridge

One logger feeds both worlds. The bridge maps a weakness you find on the sim onto your real-world driving and the other way round — a trail-braking habit you correct on the sim becomes faster lap times at the actual track, and a real-world cornering note becomes a sim drill. The diagram below is illustrative and representative of how the two sides connect.

  • A single driver profile spans sim and real-world sessions.
  • Weaknesses and drills carry across, in both directions.
  • One capture pipeline, two worlds — no separate accounts to reconcile.
  • Representative illustration only — the bridge view ships at public beta.

Capture

Capture & devices

Bring the data you already have. LAP ingests the common logger formats and auto-detects them, for both kart and car. Link up to three devices, and your data is retained long enough to track real progression — not just this week.

  • Logger support: RaceChrono, RaceBox, AiM, and MoTeC CSV exports with GPS.
  • Both kart and car sessions, on one profile.
  • Up to 3 linked devices per membership.
  • 12-month raw telemetry retention and 5-year report retention.
  • Auto-sync and format auto-detection — no manual configuration.
